Official Meeting Notice: Tax Revenue Increase Notice
The Montgomery County Emergency Service District No. 10 conducted public hearings on August 24, 2017 and August 31, 2017 on a proposal to increase the total tax revenues of the Montgomery County Emergency Service District No. 10 from properties on the tax roll in the preceding year by 4.82 percent.
The total tax revenue proposed to be raised last year at last year’s tax rate of $0.1000 for each $100 of taxable value was $6,302,132.
The total tax revenue proposed to be raised this year at the proposed tax rate of $0.1000 for each $100 of taxable value, excluding tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year, is $6,565,187.
The total tax revenue proposed to be raised this year at the proposed tax rate of $0.1000 for each $100 of taxable value, including tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year, is $6,741,506.
The COMMISSIONERS of Montgomery County Emergency Service District No. 10 is scheduled to vote on the tax rate that will result in that tax increase at a public meeting to be held on September 14, 2017 at MAGNOLIA FIRE STATION 181, 18215 BUDDY RILEY BLVD., MAGNOLIA, TX 77354 at 2:00 PM.
The COMMISSIONERS of Montgomery County Emergency Service District No. 10 proposes to use the increase in total tax revenue for the purpose of providing adequate emergency services personnel, stations and equipment to keep pace with growth in the District.
